History of KAC SR-16

Knight's Lance in Modern Warfare
The KAC SR-16 series is an AR variant carbine manufactured by KNIGHT'S ARMAMENT COMPANY (KAC). It is also an improved version of the SR-15 civilian rifle produced by the company's branch KNIGHT'S MANUFACTURING COMPANY (KMC). Both are also weapons using 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge, magazine feed, gas operation weapon. The difference between the two is that the SR-16 series has a select-fire function with the fully automatic shooting mode. It is mainly designed for use by military or law enforcement and cannot be purchased in the civilian market.

About the KAC/VFC SR-16 E3 MOD 2, 5.56mm NATO style outer barrel is manufactured to simulate military specifications, and is free-floated inside 10.75"/ 13" URX 4 handguard. An ambidextrous bolt release, selector, and magazine release offer left-handed users the ergonomic advantages inherent to AR15-based controls.
The two-stage trigger serves double duty as an aid to precision marksmanship while enabling surgical speed shooting at close range. The 5.56mm 3-Prong Flash Eliminator is compatible with the KAC style of QDC Signature Reduction Devices Dummy.
